We’re on a mission to help high-potential founder-led brands achieve their growth ambitions. We do this through a mix of:

 

  • Intelligent technology combined with proven strategies provides unique insights across ad channels which can be actioned in a single-click.
  • Revenue-share growth capital providing rapid access to necessary funding for growth activities such as marketing and inventory.
  • Digital marketing expertise to supplement in-house skills and address short and medium term resource gaps.

 

Our applications are primarily used by marketing managers in client companies and digital performance agencies. Our clients use Optily’s software to improve ROAS and deliver business impact from digital advertising improvements. Our team supports businesses with varying needs in the digital advertising space from bid and budget management through to core strategic development and optimization.

 

The Role

We’re on the hunt for a paid search (PPC) specialist to join our in-house smart agency team, Optily+. Our star candidate will have proven success in driving paid search campaigns that deliver excellent results and outstanding value for our clients. On a typical day, you’ll be meeting with many clients across the globe, so you ideally need to be excited at the prospect of communicating advertising strategies and results confidently, in a fun and easy to understand way. You’ll also need to thrive working across numerous projects simultaneously.

 

Knowledge of advertising platforms and a digital marketing qualification is a must, and you’ll have defined, delivered, and optimized campaigns for a range of clients and budgets. You can expertly navigate and utilize Google & Bing Ads, and Google Analytics and have a good understanding of the wider digital marketing mix. We live and breathe digital here at Optily+, it is an incredibly fast-paced industry so being up to date on all of the latest innovations and platforms will bring huge success to you in this role. (Microsoft, Snap, Pinterest, TikTok). You’ll be a pro at creating, deploying, optimizing, and reporting on Paid Search campaigns and you understand the journey that all digital channels play in any customer success story.

 

Data is at the heart of everything we do at Optily and you’ll be confident with capturing, manipulating, and using data in everyday decision making. You’ll present data and recommendations in an easy to understand and actionable way to our clients.

Our Dream Candidate: 

  • Has a digital marketing qualification.
  • Has a minimum of 3 years’ experience with Google Ads and experience with Bing.
  • Is a reporting whizz who loves data and can adeptly navigate Google Analytics to uncover hidden insights
  • Can set and achieve performance KPIs, (e.g. ROAS) making them sing alongside a Client’s overall business goals (e.g. customer acquisition, Revenue, and GP) 
  • Has good reporting knowledge, having leveraged Excel and data visualization services such as Data Studio, Whatagraph, Supermetrics or Tableau to create dashboards for clients
  • A keen problem solver who diagnoses and provides innovative solutions to common data or tracking challenges, and has good knowledge of Google Tag Manager.
  • Has familiarity with scripts that can be used to accelerate ad campaigns.
  • A positive team player who loves working collaboratively with team members to design and deliver successful campaigns and make our clients smile, but who can comfortably work autonomously and handle ambiguity as well.
  • Experience managing and scaling advertising budgets
  • Has a multi-channel mindset meaning that you know where Google fits into the mix but also how it can play with other channels to deliver the best result for the client.
  • Native or bilingual English language
  • Strong proven client experience with excellent communication and presentation skills.

The Role
We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Test Engineer to help establish a new testing department to better support our clients, development team and business functions.  The work environment is dynamic and fast paced.    

 

This is a new role, and as a member of the Development Team, you will have full responsibility for designing and implementing manual and automated tests, identifying bugs and issues, and working alongside the development team to ensure the highest quality of products.

 

You will work closely with the Head of Development to plan and deliver a high quality product and you should be able to communicate effectively with internal business stakeholders.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Creating, from scratch, detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, driving continual improvement to all test plans.
  • Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities
  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Evaluate and select the most appropriate automated testing solution to support this role then develop automated test scripts/plan and execute automated test suite with automation tools
  • Identify, document, and track bugs, performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved 
  • Take ownership of technical issues, troubleshoot issues, and identify root causes of faults or problems related to the range of technologies used internally
  • Apply quality testing principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle
  • Participate in design discussions in order to create effective test strategies
  • Provide technical feedback on the production code base found through testing.

Experience

  • Java API/Junit testing and/or Scala testing
  • Strong knowledge of build and configuration systems
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Deep knowledge of QA methodology, testing techniques, and approaches
  • Demonstrable ability to drive quality of products
  • Experience troubleshooting performance issue
  • Experience in Software-as-a-Service.
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance with manual and automated testing
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

  • Computer Science degree or equivalent experience; BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

We are currently seeking ambitious HR professionals to support our rapidly expanding team across Europe and the US.

 

The Role

This is a great opportunity for a HR Generalist to join a growing tech start up in our Dublin office. In this varied role, you will be responsible for day-to-day HR operations (approx 25 employees). Reporting to the Finance Director, this will be a highly visible role where you will work closely with cross functional teams, third party providers, and international colleagues. You will be involved in providing ER advice, performance and talent management coaching, employee engagement initiatives, HR policies, training, recruitment and talent attraction, on-boarding, people initiatives and projects.

 

In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle of new employees across all our locations.
  • Design and co-ordinate new employee orientation, development, and training programmes; ensuring that all employees whether remote or office-based are set up for success.   
  • Partner with management to develop people strategies aligned to the business strategy and priorities, in particular supporting employee effectiveness in combined office/remote working mode.
  • Liaise with all employees to design and implement effective team-building and collaboration initiatives to support our hybrid working mode.
  • Be the champion for fostering our culture, in line with our vision and values, ensuring all employees can be successful in their roles.
  • Support employees in their career progression; identifying career goals and the required development and training opportunities which can be provided by the company.
  • Drive continuous performance process engaging with relevant managers to ensure goal setting and review process completion and collate and manage learning & development 
  • Manage Payroll, Benefits, General Administration: Manage and support the administration of contracts, payroll and benefits. Conduct monthly check of Healthcheck timesheets, expense reports, and assist with approving payroll.  Update, extract and analyze data from the HR system to provide key HR Metrics as required
  • Suggest and implement new policies and procedures to continuously improve efficiencies across the Dublin and US office locations and to improve employee experience and engagement. 
  • Actively Promote employee wellbeing programmes and initiatives including recognition awards. 
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR queries in line with company policy, legislation, and best practice.
  • Communicate and update all employees both written and verbally  of relevant company and HR information.
  • Ensure the HR data is maintained in accordance with GDPR.

 

 

Our Dream Candidate: 

  • The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified and have 3+ years HR experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong local HR operating knowledge; best practice and legislation (Ireland)
  • Experience in coordinating and supporting, recruitment, talent, reward and engagement initiatives

  • Strong attention to detail, the ability to work on own initiative, creative, positive and problem solving outlook
